Search Engines are used to
search for information. Typically a keyword or phrase is typed into a box,
a button is clicked, and the page you're viewing will be updated with links
directing you to sites related to the keyword or phrase that you typed in.
Search Engines have
"Spiders" that creep around the "Web" and gather information
continuously.
Unfortunately, there is no
standard method to search for information. Each search engine has it's own rules
for you to narrow down your search. We highly recommend that you review the
search engines help files to get the most of your search efforts.
You'll probably settle-in on
one as your favorite. Don't forget to check the others out every month or so.
They all want to be the best and are continually trying to improve content, ease
of use, etc...
